CNC upgrade continues

Begley International's Malaga Plant Upgrade continues with the installation of state of the art machining centers for machining CRA alloy oil patch fasteners from materials such as 316L, Inconel 625 and Super Duplex. This acquisition follows the installation of a number of heavy CNC machining centre including a MAZAK oil country lathe and MEKOF heavy CNC machining center with 10m bed.

Begley plans further improvement and expansion of it’s heavy CNC machining capabilities over the next year.

MOU with Oilstates Signed for Subsea Pipeline Equipment Manufacturing

Begley International's parent company MC&E Ltd and Oilstates International (OSI) signed a MOU last month to jointly market, design and manufacture a range of subsea pipeline equipment based on OSI's pipeline product and connector technology. Products include turnkey equipment packages such as PLEM's (Pipeline End Manifolds), Tie in Sleds, Jumpers and PLET's (Pipeline End Terminations).

The combination of OSI's product range and engineering track record and the MC&E's fabrication and insulation capabilities means that the local market is now offered a turnkey equipment solution for specialized subsea pipeline equipment skids.

This agreement continues a nearly 30 year relationship between OSI and Begley International.
